It’s good to be home.  Today has been quiet as should the next day or so.  There has been some adjusting to life at home but overall things have gone well.  Things have gone well due in part to the fact that my parents are keeping Banner and favorite Uncle Steve (as Brouwer calls him) is keeping Kermit.

Brouwer has felt pain at his incision sites and also, though very infrequently / only when his legs are lifted above his head (diaper changes), seems to feel pain due to pressure in his head.  We’re addressing and adjusting to these items.  Brouwer is getting stronger and better at standing and also better at taking some steps.  Spirits were good today.

This week will be busy as we 1) welcome Banner and Kermit back home, 2) start physical therapy, 3) research chemotheraphy options and ultimately decide on Brouwer’s chemotheraphy treatment plan.  Please pray for these events and decisions.
